Update,
The turret is now finished apart from the hatches which will be detailed later today. The masking will be done in the morning and then the surface primer added.
Just some pics of the final items...
holopaper.jpg
The Holograph paper used in the build. This is just an odd offcut.
dustciverfin.jpg
The dust cover in place and finished.
smokdischargers.jpg
The smoke dischargers which went from convex to concave.... or in rather than out....
windsensor.jpg
Wind sensor with 'electric conduits'.
togsdoor.jpg
TOGS door and lens, also the small wiper blade which will be bent into place once painting has finished and masking removed.
muzzle1.jpg
And finally a couple of the muzzle. There are two bolts not shown here, but are now added each side since the photoshop shown I had forgotten them.
muzzle2.jpg
And that is it for time being.
Cheers,
Mike.

That black&white texture-effect is quite special too, I always get that feeling I want to touch it :smiling5:

Hi Steven,
Its becoming a bit of a problem, every time you touch it some of the sand (white) works loose and ends up on the bench, like modelling on marbles.

Update,
First, many thanks to those who have posted comments, a big THANK YOU, to you all.
Been a bit busy over the last few days, there has been some base building ready for the Challenger and the Land Rover. This is some of the work already done for the Challenger...
base.jpg
Depicts a dusty road in Afghanistan.
And the vehicle itself is now into top coat and tonight a satin varnish overall.
satinvarnished.jpg
Just further paint details to add and then a wash of Dark Umber oil suitably thinned
Tomorrow will start with track wrestling, followed by wheel adding....
Cheers,
Mike.
