A ex-British Army-MK 5 Chieftain built in 1975 retired from service and sold on, it has spent its life in private hands and a full strip down and rebuild was in progress when the original owner had financial difficulties. It has now changed hands and the new owner, after refurnishing another project, will turn his hands and wallet to the sorry looking Chieftain.

Apart from a space on the board for a plaque then grassing up and around it, this is finished.

Enjoy.

wow Si, that is top notch, from to painting weathering, to the base,

like how you have the tuffs of grass in the tracks, the burnt ground, is great :D

even the old tarps are so good, what did you use for them ?

Excellent Si! Great idea & clever use of the partially built kit!

The burnt-out oil drum is a lovely touch.

Cheers

The old tarps are made from an old cover used in the greenhouse Moni, it was cut to size then scuffed to get that worn look then glued into place.
