Brian,
Chair pulled up. She looks nicely detailed. I don't fancy gluing all those barrel halves together.
Only 208 barrel halves 208 carriage halves and 416 wheels :smiling3:
I beg to difer!! I was on her in 1990(ish). Albeit only for a visit!!! The click bed would have been invented a lot earlier if Wafu's had served on the Victory.
lol I used to walk past her daily when I was in Portsmouth in the early 80's

You might want to have a look at Vallejo's flesh tones. They do several different one of those might fit the bill.

Done a bit more this morning and started the cannons this batch (60) done 36 need a rest otherwise it becomes a chore, I'm really waiting on the aftermarket stuff so I can get the two hull halved finished and glued.

Cannons are going to need a clean up not looking forward to doing 104 guns :smiling3:

I like the colour of the unpainted model the carpet monster is rarely successful

Well, it looks more smoothbore than boring... :rolling:
Taxi! :tongue-out3:

Wonderful progress, Brian. I guess those guns are in sailship modelling the equivalent of some highly detailed tracks in tank modelling, almost a chore but they can make the difference in the end.

Researchers scratched their way through the 72 layers of paint in 2014 (?) and found that at the time of "The Battle" the stripes were painted a very pale terracotta pinkish colour. When Victory was repainted in the newly found livery, people where, shall we put it in the clearest of English phrases "Tutting like mad" that Nelsons Victory was now painted PINK! OUTRAGEOUS!

I was looking for something quite different when I saw turned brass cannons and thought of you with your coming nightmare of all those.
Bit late now I guess. It was in Denmark anyway so way to expensive to buy from here, but pretty sure you could find some there in Blighty.
