Having played with some 1/72 seeing your cockpit detail is even more impressive now .:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:

Thanks for the input chaps. I'm using my phone for the pictures, just to speed things up. As you can see, I haven't quite got the hang of that just yet. Everything is about 5 x the original size.

However, look what just popped up. It seems BN now lives about an hour away from me.

Cockpit looking very good Colin, especially for 1/72.

Colin,
Cracking start mate. I had the pleasure in having a lift in one of these along time ago. I think I am right in remembering there is 18 tons of downwash from the rotors hence their superb lift capabilities.

Not sure whether 'pleasure' is the correct choice of words mate!

I’ll be interested to compare this kit to the Revell version. I quite fancy doing the USAF A version of the trumpeter kit.

Well now, despite all the good weather calling me outside, I have actually done a bit.

Unfortunately, every seam needed work. Fill sand, fill sand etc.
Masking that canopy took a few nights of ‘a bit at a time’ A mask set would have been a wise call here.

Coming on nicely Colin.... The one and only 110 I've made I did DIY masks for and that took two attempts. I have masks for the other three 110s I have in the stash... Not going there again.

Keep up the good work.

ATB.
