Thanks Andy.
Not long to go now. At last I can finally see the finishing post. I just hope no more ideas come into my nut!

Thanks for the great posts boys.
I'm really humbled by such generous comments.

I've finished the cart contents. Made from bits of thread, wire, toilet paper, cocktail sticks and household putty.

Next, and perhaps the last stage, is to finish the horses gear.

Thanks again for your kind words.

Thanks 453.
Better watch out, Sister Muldoon is on the prowl looking for someone to try out a new enema method!

Better start running - Parden the pun!

Seriously old lad, get yourself right, and I hope to have more solid information from you toot sweet.

Thanks Paul.
Good to read you are still hanging on in too..... :thumb2:

Here's the finished horses and cart. Without a doubt this outfit has been one of the most difficult builds I've ever tackled. All the elements were a spot on fit, it was the painting and making the reigns that were so difficult to get to a satisfactory level. (For me anyway)

All brush painted with Vallejo Model Air. The reigns are made from paper.

I hope the model passes muster.

Hi Ron
That looks great. Cart load is very realistic and having the fancy horse has worked well. That bit out of the normal.

This is quite insanely brilliant to be fair and us mere mortals can only watch in awe ....

Ron .. can i ask for a pic or two showing the entire scene (say from above or from an elevated side view) just to give it some overall perspective .... the scene is just awash with fine detail and it would nice to enjoy it all in one picture

Thanks Jim. I'm chuffed you like the man and 'orses. The 'Fancy' horse was a s*d to paint, but I'm very happy with the result. - It would have been a lot easier on my sanity to have left it brown, mind!

Lindsey, thank you for your rather embarrassing comment on my model.

The pictures above are taken on a base I've kept from a previous diorama. It comes in handy for taking pictures of finished models.

If I'm happy, and don't want to add any more to this diorama, I'll post up a few pictures of the entire scene in 'Dioramas Completed' some time soon.

Thanks again boys. Your feedback is much appreciated and makes me dead happy!

Wow! Brilliantly done Ron.

A couple of my friends do the horse & cart thing. I can almost imagine them sat on there trapping along it's so lifelike.

A very overall pleasing result 570. Muldoon has once again handed out the right meds! I'm really looking forward to see this all come together, along with the last bit of the story.
Cheers, Rick H.

Very impressive 570, 3 rd photo down looks real.

Thank you for sending a warning about Sister Muldoon, I managed to give her the slip, but bumped into Matron, who promptly gave me a slap for visiting you with out permission. She said you were a bad influence , I'm now on a lockdown for a week .
