Hi all just thought I would share with you something that I am tinkering with, so far there is three buildings that have been scratch built out of balsa wood.

The buildings are going to end up being a railway station in occupied europe, A wooden floor has been built using coffee stirrers, got to admit they look amazing when done as a floor.

There will be a platform and several figures and a few vehicles at the front of the station, In addition to this there will be some railway bits and bobs.

Very nice indeed, the coffee stirrers are spot on for thin lengths of timber, superb mate, really like this.

Thanks Si, youre not wrong mate about the coffee stirrers, they look amazing and I can't get over how cheap they are.

I will keep this build updated as it gets going.

Cool,

So tell me, is it a mind creation or is it from an existing building you know what I mean?

Looks good mate, if its anything like Polux's 'secret trip' or my 'MASH' diorama you'll probably still be adding things to it and redoing odds and sods this time next year :smiling3: :smiling3: :smiling3:

Hi Tom,

The building look brilliant, may I ask where do you get the coffee stirrers from please...

As Colin said I think this will be one that you'll be able to keep adding too, so I am looking forward to seeing what you come up with and how it will look...

Thank you for sharing...

Andy...

Hi Colin thanks for that buddy, and your not wrong, I've already let my mind go into over drive on what I can get for it.

Hi Andy glad you like the buildings, In regards to the coffee stirrers I got them off e-bay 1000 for around £4.00 delivered.

Hmm coffee stirrers ... Cheap on the net ....last month I did 1200 miles up and down the m1 so I'm fully stocked for what I need this year :smiling3: :smiling3: :smiling3:

If you ask nicely they may even grab an opened box from the back for you...
