Thanks for the likes chaps very much a motivating element for me and keeps me at it
A bit of progress on the "Syrian shop" : Awning is fixed and weathered as is the shop sign using Shader and a bit of sponge chipping and a ligt misting with buff at the back rebar has been painted and further details added I have started on the interior it is not just going to be a pile of rubble. As the footprint of the building is not great the challenge is to show some details beside rubble. Pics show various versions of how I want the finished result to look - also, I really like my scratched damaged ceiling ventilator
Viewed through really clear reality goggles the fridge and gas canister would prob have been looted but a bit of creative liberty is allowed... Interior shots are WIP
I have kept rust to a minimum but it does rain quite a bit in Aleppo - especially during Winther so on untreated metal rust will start to show
Rebar is coming along - end result will be a tangled mess
Interior:
I am debating with myself how much rubble - focus should be IMHO be on not just the rubble but try to steer the eye of the beholder towards detail - on the pics below I am making changes to try to accomplish this
some of the principal items
I relly love that fan....
I have added a smashed shelf - this used to be a store...
