Nice Si, very neat work with the cabling and those pe parts.
I do not want to sit on the naughty step again. Steve started it and because of that he should be put there.

No one likes a tell tale Mr Race....although I do believe that Mr Jones was the instigator:smiling5:

Si, I concur, I was following your build enjoying myself learning about these hightly technical beasts when the Motherland's might of armour and production no's were held to question by young Master Jones.
Am I not right to assume no answer is an admission of guilt ?
Comrade Dzhon.

Well it certainly sounds about right Comrade Race.
It’s all numbers, tricky paint schemes and rivets with Comrade Jones:smiling5:

@Si Benson Not including the great scratch build items you've added to the kit. How would you say this kit has gone together so far? As i mentioned earlier in the thread i am looking at this kit and the HobbyBoss one. So any fit issue input would be greatly received.

Hi Alan,

I would say it’s gone together well for an old kit, nothing untoward.

The kit Indy tracks require a fair amount of clean up but are do-able.
Instructions are good with no mistakes that I’ve noticed.

I think I paid about £18/20 for mine so certainly value for money. I would recommend the aftermarket PE deck screens as you only get that nylon mesh in the kit.

There are newer kits for a fraction more available, probably with better details and tracks ?

hope this helps

Cheers Si. The Zvezda and HobbyBoss are about the same price hence me asking.

Hi Si
Definitely impressed with the extra details you're adding. Great research and then the skill to scratch what's needed. All in all you will have a unique model at the finish.
That nylon, or whatever it is made of, mesh is certainly worth replacing!!

Cheers Jim.....Ive tried in the past to use the mesh but could never get the damn stuff to stick down:tired:

Another late night update...

After getting an hour in playing World of tanks....I got bored and attacked the Tiggy with more bits of stuff.

I turned my attention to the skirt mounting positions and with plastic card I beefed them up a little and then added pewter bolt heads.....assuming that Hanz unt Fritz put the bolts back in the holes for some reason

Then I made up the barrel cleaning rod holders....I thought I had some wing nuts somewhere For these but can’t find them

Very impressive Si.
The addition of the plastic card and pewter really works.
