Jim - :smiling3:

Mick - I can't possibly think :tears-of-joy: but he/she also forgot to give her a bum! With those short shorts she needed a little builders cleavage so out with the chisel again

Ian - just hope I don't knock the things off yet again

Andy - :tears-of-joy: very good. Yes, knee makes leg look a bit more leggy

been having a bit of a fight with this one again

cleaned up and asembled the RPG with no problem but then had to juggle two arms and the RPG to try and get them all to play nicely together, which they wouldn't do!

I CA'd my fingers to both of the arms and there was no way I could get the left hand to fit the RPG so it was time for surgery (not on me - I managed to pull my fingers free which resulted in her arms falling off for the umpteenth time)

Out with the JLC saw and whipped off the hand at the wrist

I ended up putting the RPG in her right hand and CA'd it to her shorts

I will have to modify the left hand and arm to fit once everything else is set in place

During the arm/RPG fight I managed to break off her left leg - there is now a ragged gap just above the boot line which is a shame as I had a nice smooth finish there before

Having subsequently looked at the box art photos it appears that whoever assembled that couldn't get the left hand to hold the RPG either as it is just sitting balanced on the end of her fingers with the thumb on the wrong side, not holding it at all

I also cleaned up the pistol/holster, magazine pouches and the AR15 based SMG, which doesn't feature on the box art - may try and give that to psycho wabbit

That's quite an update Mr. T, I've been on this forum for over a year now and have never known you to carry on this way! LOL. I think this "Dame" is getting to you. First her wacky wabbit and now her wee bum and lack of a proper grip on her RPG! I can't wait to see what pops up next. Whatever they it is I'm sure you will handle the situation with your usual flare! Looking forward to the next update. Cheers, Rick H

Hi Rick - it is not going quite as smoothly as I thought it would but it is starting to come together now
Have a few extra minutes this morning as I have doctors appointment before work so using boiling water I heated the fingers on her right hand and folded them around the RPG
Also used boiling water to flatten out her left hand so that I could get it sat in the right place - this is now CA’d in place
Tonight I should be able to heat and fold the fingers to the RPG

Both shoulders, left wrist and the broken leg will then all need some attention with magic sculpt

Blimey, this one is giving you problems. Bit like the problems I had with my zeltbahned Dragon figure - managed to fit the gun, but the panzerfaust then wouldn't fit, sticky fingers etc etc. Good for you for sticking at it Simon.

Cheers Steve

Rick - taking a bit more effort than I expected! Docs was annual diabetic check up but I also found out that they are referring me to a liver specialist, after they told me there was no need a few weeks ago, which is slightly worrying

Peter - with its nicely cast parts it looked like it would just fall together instead of which it keeps falling apart :smiling3: Nothing that a bit of modelling can't fix though. She will get to paint eventually

Scottie - she is getting there.....

I forgot to say that before assembling I separated all the fingers

The right hand has had boiling water treatment to wrap them around the RPG

Left hand fingers still to do

she still stands up without assistance :thumb2:

Bit of an odd way to hold the RPG, but then again, not as odd as carrying a psycho wabbit in your rucksack

Hi Simon
Hope all goes well with the docs.
Actually looks as if she is sorted - hope I haven't jinxed it saying that.

Steve - sprocket is for the toon M51 - I have quite a few things on the go

Rick - yes, I have made all sorts over the years so adjusting figures is nothing new

Jim - thanks. She is getting there now

what's more dangerous than a psycho wabbit in your rucksack?

seal-018_2019-7-6.jpg
a psycho wabbit with an assault rifle of course!

I decided to give him the rifle instead of the spare RPG rounds

As you can see I strapped the spare rounds to the rucksack instead

Since taking the picture I have sawn off his left paw and swivelled it 90deg anticlockwise - all joints drilled and pinned to give some structural integrity to the modified limbs

Just need to get the filler out now and sort all the chopped bits on wabbit and Miss RPG

Paint is getting nearer
