Coming on ..slowly! Well if your not very experienced (me)and need the practice you'll get plenty with a miniart kit.more pe than I've ever done before but I was determined not to shelve it,far from perfect but with some sanding,paint and weathering I should be able to cover most of my sin's20210506_150123.jpg20210505_220834.jpg20210505_220654.jpg20210505_215050.jpg20210505_214959.jpg lol.

That’s why I’m always careful to move my magnifier away from the window and the room light, and have it vertical when I’m not using it, yes :smiling3: Lucky that there’s a spare box in the kit, though otherwise it might have been salvageable by sharpening it up a bit and saying the lid got dented.

Yeah ill be more careful,I saw it and moved it, was only about 30 secs if that. I blame the electrician for talking to me lol

The T55 is coming along nicely Mark, there's a fair bit of photo etch in this build, good job there was a spare box in the kit!

Cheers :thumb2: you have to use most of the pe as well it's not an option to replace supplied plastic parts you only get the pe for certain bits !

Making a real nice job of that, wondering why they supply the extra box - or do they know that people will try to set the kit on fire with a magnifying glass? ;) :thumb2: :smiling5:

Thanks Gerry, yeah theres nearly another tank in spares! Lol perhaps they should have supplied a 1.35 fire extinguisher.
