Hi Jakko
Excellent. Great idea to include the figure. I enjoy following your builds of actual vehicles, interpreting old , grainy photos.
What's next?

Thanks :smiling3: I like putting a figure on vehicles for scale, as it easily shows even to people who know exactly nothing about military vehicles, how big these things were — and an Sd.Kfz. 7 is pretty big, about the length of a Sherman and only slightly narrower. A slightly problem, though, is that I don’t really like painting figures, so they tend to take a while to actually get finished :smiling3:

I intend to finish the LWS I started some years ago :smiling3:

Thanks, though I’m sure a lot of it could have been done better :smiling3:

Always a very interesting build from you,Jakko. I think the civilian trying to siphon the petrol is a brilliant human touch, too.
I have to say though, it's crying out for at least a base of cobbles, please.:nerd:

Thanks, guys :smiling3:

If only I had the room, I would … but any time I finish a model I have to shuffle the older ones around to make room as it is
Ah go on, it only needs to be a little one...
And you could leave it unattached so you can photograph other models,- it would work for your Shermans too

Thanks again, all :smiling3:

That surprises me too, if I’m honest, and how not-difficult (rather than easy :smiling3:) it turned out to be in the end, even if it was rather fiddly work. I guess part of it is that it’s all so tiny that you don’t need everything to be perfectly accurate. Though TBH, if I were to do another I think I would have a friend 3D print it …

True, though it wouldn’t be very accurate for those :smiling3: Maybe I should build a couple of bases for photographing models, though … Someday :smiling3:

Thanks, guys :smiling3: As usual it was a lot more effort than expected … why does that keep surprising me? :smiling3:
