Thanks I like putting a figure on vehicles for scale, as it easily shows even to people who know exactly nothing about military vehicles, how big these things were — and an Sd.Kfz. 7 is pretty big, about the length of a Sherman and only slightly narrower. A slightly problem, though, is that I don’t really like painting figures, so they tend to take a while to actually get finishedExcellent. Great idea to include the figure.
I intend to finish the LWS I started some years agoI enjoy following your builds of actual vehicles, interpreting old , grainy photos.
What's next?
Thanks, though I’m sure a lot of it could have been done betterAnother well researched and even better made model there Jakko. Great stuff.
If only I had the room, I would … but any time I finish a model I have to shuffle the older ones around to make room as it isI have to say though, it's crying out for at least a base of cobbles, please.
Ah go on, it only needs to be a little one...Thanks, guys

That surprises me too, if I’m honest, and how not-difficult (rather than easy ) it turned out to be in the end, even if it was rather fiddly work. I guess part of it is that it’s all so tiny that you don’t need everything to be perfectly accurate. Though TBH, if I were to do another I think I would have a friend 3D print it …Still amazed at how well you've done the rocker assy.
True, though it wouldn’t be very accurate for those Maybe I should build a couple of bases for photographing models, though … SomedayAh go on, it only needs to be a little one...
And you could leave it unattached so you can photograph other models,- it would work for your Shermans too
