Those Discworld figures are quite nice. I’ve got a bunch of them but haven’t gotten round to painting most of those I have. Is the Death you have the one with the hourglass in his hand, or without?

nice looking figures Andy 28mm
They’re a fair bit larger than that. I just measured a few I have built, and both Death and Carrot are 45 mm or so to the top of the head, while Susan and Angua are more like 38 mm. (Detritus is about 55 mm, and almost 40 mm across the shoulders :smiling3:)

Hi Paul.........good to see you can use some of that stuff. I did have that tank trailer apart, there was something rattling around inside....turned out to be the landing gear for the trailer. Don't remember if I left it in there or not........good place for weight though.
Nice Mod.

Damn, Mr. Smiff's been going through the family album again!!!.....Good luck...........

Donor tanker & tractor from Rick Mini Me converted to something my M35s can drag. Trailer needs some weight added to make it sit right on dolly.

More miniature madness in progress Paul. Looks pre-weathered to me too. Nice!!!

Me, I haven't got a lot to show.......I always forget to take pics, but I have almost finished my resin kit of the Sd. Anh. 24 generator from Plus models,

IMG_2945.JPG
The kit gives you wire for the brake cables. A nice touch, but at least 3 times larger than what is needed. The fit ain't too shabby either. Still a bit to do and still can't use the hissy stick to paint anything. Damn winds and rain........Bummer.....

Hi Everyone

I had an unexpected day at the bench today so I was able to make a start on my first resin kit. The rear panel and floor was created using plasticard and scribed with panel and woodgrain effects. The seat and bench was scratch built in very much the same way

7.jpg

Then it was time to do some sewing LOL. I made the curtain from a piece of pie tin. Used an old airbrush needle to make the holes. Finally I threaded some nylon thread through the holes

8.jpg9.jpg

Now its out with the Milliput and get all those holes filled!

6.jpg

Many thanks for looking in and happy modelling

Since you appear to be more of an aircraft modeller, I need to point out that it’s an M48 hull, not an M60, in the original photo :smiling3: The model you used is an M60, and you converted the hull front to that of an M48 (well done, BTW — not a conversion I would want to try, certainly not with plastic card), but that makes the mudguards and their stowage boxes wrong :smiling3: A simple solution would be to cut those off completely as well and rebuild them and the stowage boxes on them from plastic card, because on the M48 they’re all very different from those of the M60.

Not sure what hull was used for this experiment, but it looks like an M48 (“A0”):

M48.jpg

It could also be an M48A1, but the only real differences in the hull is that the spare track links on that were stowed on the second mudguard section instead of the first :smiling3: (That’s why I think the experimental tank is an M48, not an M48A1: there are diagonal dirt marks visible on the forward sections of the mudguards that would fit with there having been spare track links there.)
