Hi Scottie
Slow, careful, painstaking work. Just what produces superb, detailed models. It is looking superb. As for errors and faults - all you can do is swear loudly and either put it right or live with it.
I like the preshade idea of the white. Interested to see how it comes out. I often just obliterate it with my clumsy airbrushing.
Keep up the great work. Gonna be a winner.

A pleasure to watch.
Although I only build OOB, it's still great to watch you using your patience and skill to produce these excellent additions.

Jim,
I must admit this build is driving me mad. As I mentioned earlier in the build that this kit has very small glue points and parts keep falling off. Even though the sprues as always get washed in warm soapy water its almost as if the plastic still has a film on it. I'm hoping the preshade will work hopefully get some paint on later.

Si, cheers mate it is slow work this build but coming together.

Lovely detail work as always Paul, neat to see you adopting the black and white technique too.

On my last tank I found the white to help a lot in highlighting the upper surfaces even in a lighter colour :thumb2:

This very nearly ended up in the bin today trying to get the assemblies together without breaking parts off was impossible. One of the vinyl tracks has a twist to it and the idler outer rim broke into 3 parts:angry:.

After a cup of tea I managed to beat it into submission and glued most of the parts back on. The windscreen armour supports were broken so they have been replaced with copper wire and pewter. The antenna mount needs replacing as that is lost.

The star on the bonnet just would not sit down over the hinges so I made a stencil and sprayed it on instead.

Hi Scottie
Once again your skill and patience has overcome the problems.

A nice cuppa can solve a lot of life's problems :smiling5:
Looking really good.
Jim
Jim, Hopefully now it should be plain sailing with only the detailing to go, mind you I still have the quad 50 to build yet.

Nothing like a real pain in the............to develop a bit of patience, I am feeling your pain as the one I am on at the moment is annoying me a bit as well. Your build is nothing short of brilliant mate.

Andy.
