The vehicle sides are now added to the floor. Next the hand axe was added. Finally for today one of the upper rifle mounts were added. Each clamp was three parts which were then glued to the back plate and the rod was added from wire. The screws on the outside are 0.5 rivets cut with a scalpel to make the screwdriver slot.

Cheers Joe, I have actually reworked some of the clamps as I wasn't happy with them.

Work is slowly progressing. I am not following the instructions as they call for the detail to be added before major items are added. The front end went together very well with only a very small amount of filler being needed. I have decided to have the top up when I get round to it.

Scottie....here you go. P1011748.JPGP1011749.JPG The first shot is the interior overhead I told you about. It also happens to be the shot of a 1500 with dual wheels mounted on the rear axle. The second shot is for comparison purposes, to show wheel position in relation to rear wheel house opening......it is considerably recessed, as you can see no axle mods required to run it either way. Of course, your model may not allow for that. Cheers, Rick H.

I really do need some new tweezers I am really struggling to hang on to the tiny bits on this kit. I was going to use the kit bonnet catches as the etch offerings are flat not round but they pinged off never to be seen again. So I soldered a couple of "T" pieces from copper wire then cut them down to size, I think they look ok and when painted should be ok.

Next the notek light base again the kit part pinged off so I drilled out some evergreen rod and the etch base and passed a length of copper wire through it to give it some strength.

finally the shovel was added to the front wing.

the storage box/tool locker was added and the ramps? and the rear step.

Then a start was made on the rear boot doors.

My eyes ache just looking at the bits, how on earth can you fabricate them? :flushed:
Ramps might well be sand tracks?
Great work!

Cheers Gerry,
You could be right about being sand tracks or maybe something for the gun it is towing?
