Cheers John I was thinking of a pale colour but wasn't sure what sort of traditional colours would have been used on the woodwork.Hi Paul. thanks for the text.
Perfect in my eyes, Dormer looks right.
As far as the out side colour for the walls from a cream to light grey cement based render. Esp on that gate post with some brick work showing through.
Like the road way with the covered stone sets.
Paul that made me chuckle especially as they reckon soldiers eat crayons,Most are outside the Crayola Eight so must defer to Dzohn on color.
Thanks John sounds good to me.Cheers John I was thinking of a pale colour but wasn't sure what sort of traditional colours would have been used on the woodwork.
Paul looking at early photos think any soft blue or green for the shutter's , while black for the barge boards and guttering and white for the trim on the windows and dormer .
Thanks Jim, sorry I missed this yesterday.Hi Scottie
Looking great. The primer has really tied it all together. Gonna look great. I think John's colour ideas are spot on.

Thanks Jim, I'm never sure how much wear to show as the house would have been well maintained? or how much it would have been effected by the battle going on around it.Hi Scottie
Looks great. You already have a realistic, worn, faded look.
Jim
