Hi Bob
Yeh - really looking like a battleship now. All the pe looks good. Certainly worth doing.
Jim
Thank you Jim, happy so far, but a way to go!

Looking good Bob. Confused me a bit for a second or two though….I was thinking how did they get the hull sides in that box…..then I realised the box was for Graff Spee, not KGV lol….
PE starting to be tamed as well……

Used PVA to refit some wonky PE, worked a treat, gave me plenty of time to align, and seems a good join!

Had a worrying thought, would the wooden deck fit over the PE, phew it does lol.

Fitted bow deck after some fettling, also added a strip of plastic between middle and bow decks, stopped the flexing. Also removed and drilled out anchor areas.

bit more tidying to do then Mr surfacer to fill in the deck edge gaps

Note a lot of red Ammo glue, finding the brush can hold a lot of glue, so difficult to remove the right amount, so had my one in five yrs brainwave!!!! Yes I do have them. Found a brush from Deluxe materials glue, hay presto perfect.

Does not hold a lot of glue and very fine point, much, much better control!

Hope I am not posting to much, do not want to be boring you all to sleep ??

Stern and midshipman main PE done, got to make up the hose reels and try to fit them, think the simple covers are a improvement.

However a few mistakes with the instructions!

Can certainly see why ships builds take so long compared to a StuG!

Mobs are much more focused than rabble as can be seen in most threads where our Rabble tend to ramble from thought to thought as whim dictates.
Excuse me Bob.

Very true Paul, I have noticed a draught from the end window in our block , is MATRON trying to kill us off ?

Thank you Bob, please carry on with this impressive build, I have no knowledge about your part of the country other than there are more sheep than people
