Graeme, it's only done to get the right look to the beams and lath work. Going to have to be very careful when attempting it. Think a spray of water to the back wall and inside front will be needed, a sort of damage control so the flames don't destroy the whole lot.The building is looking good John, the guttering & damaged roof are very good, can't see how burning it will improve it, but prepared to see how!
Actually I showed it another friend who joined us on holiday. He did a big train layout in his youth and dabbles with the odd kit every few years and he was blown away with the quality of your work.Many thanks Andrew.
