Have got the landing gear together, I've used chrome vinyl for the tank straps, was easier than painting them.
Vent grill location holes getting filled in as i have etch grills, these will mount slighter forward of the intake leaving a gap between it and the grill, the kit parts cover the intake and they shouldn't.20220711_232016.jpg20220711_232200.jpg

Great catch Mark, and mine in the Revell kit are wrong too. Looks too much like work to correct them though, so they will have to do. Just don't tell Mama...................

Cheers chaps, truth is I was looking at Ian's build and thought he's straps look to be in a different place to mine and the real give away was the straps that were moulded on to the tanks!!:smiling4:teach me not to look at stuff properly lol!

Also I done a boo boo :confounded: applied just a little pressure on the right hand side window and...20220716_200219.jpg
Not perfect but with a bit of plastic packaging and a sanding stick I made a replacement that will get me out trouble if you don't look to hard at it. 20220716_200324.jpg

For some reason transparent plastic is more brittle than coloured plastic. You're fix is excellent - no one will know. Except us lot of course 'cause you've told us :smiling:
but waiting for a paint delivery so no rush.
Should be cooler by the time it arrives.

Cheers guys, yes it is a bit to warm to focus on much let alone painting, I'm at about half hour modelling followed by half hour breaks at the moment
