Hey Paul,

I guess I had one too many. What I meant was are you going to put Michael Caine in the TC hatch, Not Sean...…...Hic...…..
I'm surprised nobody caught that error……….
I did but was too busy shuffling my relatives around to reply.

Scottie(I have to one day make up my mind to either call you Paul or stick with your callsign :smiling2: )...your OOB interior is looking good, the tardiness is excusable. Blame it on the war and no time for clean up.

Cheers,
Richard

Hi Scottie
Now that interior is very nice indeed. A lot of work has gone into that and it shows.

That really is rather good indeed. Very nicely done.

Just wish my skills were up to what you've achieved so far.

This really is going to look very special once finished.

Morn Paul,

Up to your usual handy work I see. Looking tops that Man!!! A quick question that you may be able to answer.

Did the real vehicle have the tunnel over the front axle? It seems it would be uncomfortable for the driver to drive it with his legs over the tunnel to reach the clutch/brake/gas pedals unless his seat was raised/reclined quite a bit. TIA Buddy!!!

Thanks Allen, as far as I can see the vehicle did indeed have the hump over the axle. I can only guess that the seat gave the drivers legs the support they needed but it still must have been uncomfortable and not easy to get in and out.

Not a lot done. I did remove the moulded louvres as they were far to thick and replace them. The etch towing eyes were added with some punched nuts. The exhaust was also drilled out. Finally the lashing eyes were replaced with 0.3 copper wire.

The front suspension was quite fiddley with very small glue points so I let each stage dry thoroughly before adding the next part but before they dried I checked the next part would fit. It builds up to show some nice detail. I will add some brake lines when I add the hubs.

cheers

Thanks Mike give me a few years and I will be up there with you.

Thanks Peter, That's why I never normally bother with underneath.
You are already there, do not go by my standards, there are much better modellers on here than me.

Hi Scottie
Fiddly, careful, paintaking work but certainly effective and worth the effort.

Jim, It is not a bad kit but does have a few issues which may be down to me so tweaks are needed here and there.
