Hi Mick, good idea to miss the worst bit when I'm building ! If it hadn't gone as well it would have beenAnother build I've totally missed but enjoyed watching the battle, not quite the ending I pictured as I was thinking in bits blown up. Nice finish
No problem my friend , no Rick, camo will be done, it's only a touch of white, nothing too technical..No worry Mick, I think JR. wimped out on the cammo. Besides, he's doing another one back to back. Stick around there will be reruns!
Pardon, JR.
Cheers, Rick H.
Now look that shot was from the secret tank proving ground at Race Towers sssh . That plastic is a screen to stop the neighbors from seeing what I'm up to.Nice work JR. The oils will enhance the look. I don't think you will get very far trying to grow another one in the flower pot. You will need to buy them from a shop like the rest of us
Paul, you are not alone , the tracks had hardly any surface area for gluing, you can just see in the photo how little.John,
I'm glad I'm not the only one that bits fall off. Looking good so far.
That's very kind of you to say Jason. I agree , bet it jumped about all over the place being so small. It’s a beauty... well done sir!
I would love to see some footage of the real thing in motion!!
Wow thanks for finding this and posting Simon, think the shot of all of them in that field reminded me of a load of Dalek's

Hi Rick glad you approve .And a fine job it is JR. Should go well with the more refined version you are starting now. Cheers, Rick H.
Yes Steve , thought might as well, then I can do all the weathering together.Great work on the camo JR. Nice to the other one on the bench already. Are you going to let us in on your secret of why you are building the two at once? Another JR classic dio maybe??
Oh it's there ok Pete, worry not. When I fitted those roller thingies I put the glue on the inside, you can just see a very thin black line. Didn't want Simon thinking I'd covered it in Marmite !Hey wait a minute, where's the glue the black stuff, you've only push that together haven't you, nurse I can't see the glue I'm losing my eyesight, help, we need glue and lots of it.
And rest.
Pete.
Morning to you Si. Thanks a good idea, another for the note book.Morning Mr R,
What a difference between the two kits....the Hobbyboss Version is light years ahead
Shame about the idler mount doing a disappearing act on you....looks like you’ve got it sorted.
I normally leave those off or held in place with bluetac on the idler so if you need to, you can make adjustments when fitting the tracks.... doesn’t always work though
