Got to be happy with that. We've probably all butchered pre-shading at least once in our lifetimes but you seem to of had everything just click into place with this.
Yep, agree Karl, cheers. It just came together and worked exactly as planned.

That's a very nice underside you have there Mr Marlow. My pre-shading has often eluded me.

Finally got some joy from them. I spent some time on an internet search about complaining to them and found the patient advocacy email contact. It was buried on their web site under the legal tab. I composed and sent a strongly worded complaint to this address setting out the issues in detail. This was about six thirty in the evening. Thirty minutes later i got a grovelling apology followed by a phone call at 0805 the next day. It’s now all set up so hopefully they can at least deliver as expected.

Moving on…..covered in black stuff…..

Takes a little while, but it’s a lot easier to use than blue tack and tape…..

And….here we are with the modulated green on…..

I’ll give it a couple of hours and then take the black science putty stuff off. Then it’s the fun of the stripes again…..

Cheers all
Tim

Great work Tim.

I've got some of that putty too, so might give it a whirl!

Go for it Andrew. It really is quite effective once you get used to it.
I actually used it to 'mask out' the wheel wells on my 109s as test..... Very odd stuff!

Keep up the great work!

I've never come across this stuff: worthwhile, versatile, expensive, available?
Steve
If you do lots of camouflage I would say yes to worthwhile. It’s easy to use and is reusable afterwards, so yes, it’s versatile. As to cost, I just bought generic science putty from Amazon because it was cheaper than Panzer putty. Weirdly, panzer putty is now cheaper so just buy that. It’s all the same stuff……don’t buy the Mig version though, for some reason it’s three times the price.
