Too hot to really do much, with both doors open I normally have a decent cool air breeze, to day was just hot air.
Did manage to do these internals to the cafe.2022_5.jpg2022_4.jpg2022_3.jpg

Very nice John. Working in these temperatures shows real dedication. I have just written off the last couple of days as far as being at the bench is concerned.

Thanks Jim.
Could only manage that Jim in the late afternoon, today its was a no go area. Went gardening this morning at 0830, and just watered, was too hot to do anything else. Came home and tried to find somewhere cooler, ended up lying on the bed with a fan going full belt .

Looks like I'll be asking for a nice warm lager from the shelf if you please John. :tongue-out3: :thumb2:

Cheers,
Richard
Well that's what you would have had to day at 104 f Richard. Don't know what they did to keep the beer cool in those days, much would of course been om tap from the cellar.

Reminded me of HK but with out the humidity.

Just started this today, another what-if. Taking a short breather from the Panzerzerstorer so I can dream up a small dio base for that. Anyway, I love the texturing, hate the flame-cut edges, will re-do those. These small plastic springs are obviously fragile and will be hidden, but I like them. I opted not to clean the detachment nubs for fear of breakage. Maybe Scotty will find it in his heart to scratch up some real springs. C'mon Paul, you'll sleep better for it. :tongue-out2:
PS this is not a build log. Just sharing a bit of this.

Ahhhhhh yes the E100, you know this was an actual concept that made it off the drawing board. I have seen photos of the chassis and running gear.....what a monster. I think the one I saw was for a turreted version......but somewhere in the depths of my foggy old git memory I seem to remember seeing a very large fixed fighting compartment.......might have been a mock up though. Oh, the springs........proper diameter copper wire (annealed) and the correct diameter drill bit clamped in yer vise......count off the number of turns to copy the plastic ones and you are in.....piece of Cake!! Before I forget, are there any seats left? I would like to follow this build if I may Sir. ;)

Hmmm...... well as you said Rick, it is a monster. Already wondering if I want to use up that much space in my cabinet to keep it. If it progresses far enough next few days than I'll start a build thread. And sure, I'll save a seat for you, its what friends do. "Friend". ;):tongue-out2:
