Just gone through a period of not really being interested in doing anything on the Boote, but now some of the radio gear (birthday present) has arrived I am starting to get things out again!

My biggest problem is painting the hull (nearly 1 metre long) in our small apartment, as just to get my bits & pieces out I have to take over the living room floor completely!

Not conducive to harmony with the one who must be obeyed!!!!

I will start painting the crew figures (a first for me) so no idea how they will turn out, I may just have to throw them overboard if not happy with them!

Well if your first attempts at painting figures are any thing like the first attempts at altering them you'll do just fine.

Just take your time and squint a lot. lol

Just haven't been in the mood lately, but it hasn't stopped me trawling the net for odd bits and pieces.

Over the last month or so I have accumalated several articles to use when I am in the mood, including some more prospective crew members to modify!

I have finally got some of the electronic gizzmo's from Action Electronics (Component Store)

And an assortment of ammo/weapons equipment from K59 Productions, for the crew to be loading/stripping/cleaning!

Hoping to get back on board in the next couple of weeks as nearly finished doing all the work that HIWMBO had tasked me to do!

Finally back on track, and got my modelling cupboard keys back from HWMBO.

As I wanted to recreate the Lurrsen Efekt on my boot, I made up a test rig in plastic tube prior to cutting plasticard and metal, to check out rod lengths and angles. So far so good!
