Andrew , its the lightingJohn,
That is stunning. Even in close up it has defeated the dreaded digital zoom that sees every imperfection and looks so realistic.
Very, very well done.

John.
Hi John
The others have said it all. Superb. You have a great talent for making buildings look realistic - the weathering is the best
Jim
Hi Graeme thank you.Hi John, the building looks very used, cracking work.
Great stuff buddy ,all that squeezed in between bouts of gardening? You sure its not the other way around. Dave
Wow @John Race !! There are certainly very few on a par with your building skills!
Thanks Mark.Love watching this come together, again! Nice work
Thank Si, hope all went well for Rochelle last Monday.Good evening John,
Very impressive building work, love those joists, very realistic.
The whole building and street look superb, top stuff sir
Not too long Jim Thanks for the comment.Brilliant. Bring on the flame ☺
Jim
Very kind of you to say Ron.World-class craftsmanship there John ! Absolutely love it !!
Thank you Andrew, I'm very please with roof , spent some time working it out. Think I shall use very little accelerant as need to keep the fire in two places and not everywhere. Thanks for the offer .At last FIRE!!!!!!!!
At last, a chance to learn from the master!!!
In case you're in need any assistance I've got some stores you could make use of.....
In terms of accelerants I've got IPA, white spirit and enamel thinners and even some highly flammable wood knot sealant!!!
in terms of ignition sources I've got matches, a lighter and one of those BBQ flame lighter thingies.
if you want a bit of a bang, I've got some of the 220g butane gas cannisters for standalone camping stoves and if you want to really a big bang, somewhere around 1/3 to a half of a gas BBQ canister that came with 7kg of gas!!!
in all seriousness though John, that building really is looking very good indeed. It really does look so very realistic. It might even be the best I've personally seen you do.
keep up the great work.
Andrew
Thank Si, hope all went well for Rochelle last Monday.
Sorry missed you there Paul, thank you for following.Excellent.
Christine said the same Andrew, but most of the roof will be intact, just the central area will have burnt timbers, along with the load bed. So nearly 90%will be visible and undamaged.John
Good is coming on beautifully. A real work of art. Almost seems a shame to set it on fire.
