Hi Richard
Now that's what I call detail painting. 1/700 scale - that's incredible.

Thanks Jim, with Vallejo acrylics and not rushing it is very enjoyable to detail paint in thin coats and slowly building up the weathering effects. The ships are going to be the next fun subject for weathering with acrylics.Hi Richard

I tend to revisit my dios that have been neglected and improve or add detail that I have learned through the years. This dio is easily 20 years in the making and was stalled by PE and rigging which caused me to work on the harbour more. Glad you like it.I really enjoy your dioramas, Richard. They are always full of such intricate detail, especially this one !

Sometimes I sit back and marvel at what I have achieved. Don't think I'd be able to do it all over again.Damn that's good Richard!!
Very well done indeed.

It's no wonder you have to take a break from it as if you didn't, you'd go blind for sure.............
