Lurking in the background watching everyone's wonderful work coming together. Hoping to get back on the Bison in the near future
Greetings Si, thank you .Morning Mr Race,
I see Ruski renovations are at full pace now and progressing nicely
Stop Lurking this minute, Matron is about looking for Lurkers.Lurking in the background watching everyone's wonderful work coming together. Hoping to get back on the Bison in the near future
Good to hear you are ok, thought you'd been abducted by aliens along with your mentor " He of the North " to planets far away .I've been doing another project but that's done and now its back to the bench all guns blazing. Matron has all the meds ready for me
Thanks for posting that Jim, he used to make us laugh so much. Kind words thanks .Hi John
Another cracking building in the making.
I remember Stanley Unwin very fondly. For those who are too young here's an example of his genius. HERE
Jim
Thanks Paul. So much to get done, at least I can go from one part to the next while things dry, or the glue dries .Looking good John.
Oh, I see ,thanks Simon, I'll break the other one off this morning. every cloud has a silver lining.Hi John,
that looks like the front idler wheel that has dropped off - you now have the chance to move it backwards/forwards to adjust the track sag
Hi Lee, thanks buddy this is the part I loveWow John you’ve been busy. I like the architect work your doing. Proceed Commander.
Thanks Peter.Very nice work John. Agree that the casting marks on the turret look very realistic.
Thank you for that , I'll let you know having easily removed parts takes much pre planning from the outset, unfortunately other parts fall off in sympathyIf something didn't fall off then it wouldn't be a JR special LOL. Architecture spot on as always.Stay cool and keep it comin
Hi Jim, thanks, yes thought the casting texture was really top rateHi John
Progressing well. Cast texture does indeed look good. Sorry about the wheel but if it does allow some slight adjustment to the track sag then as you say 'silver lining'.
Jim
Thanks for liking Paul, think the heat has got to every one !Hi Jim, thanks, yes thought the casting texture was really top rate
Undeterred by the heat and with the fan on full I decided to do something to the build .
Glued the plastic sections on.

Then decided to spray.
I wanted to get that bluish Green like in the drawing , well not quite what I really want but once the washable white is on it might look better .

John .
Hi Simon.Morning John - tis hot isn't it. Think I got to sleep around 4 - alarm went off 5:45
Looking at the picture above the drive wheel, back left, hasn't gone together properly - there shouldn't be any of those gaps between the two halves. Is it too late to rectify now?
There is a grab handle missing off the top of the engine deck as well - one on the right is there but just holes on the left
The front track guards would have looked better made from pewter then bashed about a bit - trust the pewter, trust the pewter
